A big thank you to all of you who faved/commented on my recent posts – I love you guys
I'm being hassled at work to have my photo taken for an i.d. card *spit* I hate having my photo taken, and for good reason - I look like a saggy leather armchair at the best of times. Combine that with a "usual suspects" style mugshot taken by an amateur with a crappy POS P&S and this isn't going to end well.
So I decided, if I'm going to have it done, I'll do it myself. So I spent this morning doing the self-portrait shuffle. I tell you, it's good exercise – sit, twist into a position where you guess the framing is right and the autofocus can find you, click, chimp, tweak the lights, sit ... rinse and repeat.
600+ exposures later I have an image that, thought it will never grace the cover of Time, at least doesn't frighten small children.
And, no, I'm not going to post it here for two reasons:
1. It's a mug shot and has no artistic merit
2. I still look like a saggy leather armchair, albeit a well lit one
Anyway, enough of the blarney, on to the features. I hope you enjoy.
