Evenin' folks.

I finally got around to watching Dances with Blue People Avatar this week – I'd had some hype-aversion to it but I enjoyed it a lot in the end.

Ahaaaa... so you *did* find your way into the cinema for it, after all! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

If you want to give yourself another treat, get the DVD of "Gattaca". I'm sure you'll like it (seeing how we've got pretty much the same taste in movies so far).

Gattaca - I'll watch it and let you know what I thought. I guess I've avoided it so far because it looks a bit depressing ...

No, it's not depressing. It's moving, but not depressing. I like the one-liner they had on the one-sheet: "There is no gene for the human spirit." :-)

Quite amazingly I liked it more than Disney's "Alice".

I'm guessing you are a big "Alice" fan - have you seen the Tim Burton movie yet?

I have seen Burton's movie, but unfortunately I don't like it. Very creative character's design, but the plot is too forward, maybe because it's better like that for the kids, maybe because it's just Disney.

But I enjoy the book and other then Disney's interpretations of it.

How about you?:)
