D700 – be still my beating heart

Yesterday, Nikon released details of the new D700, effectively confirming rumours based on allegedly leaked publicity material. The D700 will use the 12Mpix FX CMOS sensor from the D3 shoe-horned into a modified D300 body.

On sale in July for US$2999 / €2599 / £2000 body only.

Ah , never keep up with it unless you got more money than you know what to do with . mind you the good news is the D300 will come down in price Yessssssssssssssssssssssss ;=)

Absolutely. You can never keep up, so unless I win the lottery I won’t be asking Santa for one of these :)
