An adult female Sphynx.

I was very lucky to be invited to the home of a woman who breeds and shows Sphynxes. I spent a happy afternoon crawling on the floor photographing these fascinating creatures.

I know some folks have a problem with the way these cats look but I adore them. I hope you like the shot - even if you don't like the cat ;)

May your footsteps set you upon a lifetime journey of love.
May you wake each day with his blessings, and sleep each night in his keeping.
And may you always walk in his tender love!

I adore sphinxes; I'm so jealous that you got to crawl around with them! I've spent a lot of time begging my Mum to at least consider one; but we live in a really cold house, so the poor thing would probably freeze, like I do, every winter. xP

Gorgeous picture; you really managed a fantastic portrait.

When I saw it in thumbs I though it was a Cornish Rex. I would be in heaven following that kitty around with a camera! I was chuffed today because I found a neighbor's kitten in my garden... I didn't give it back till I took some pictures. But your kitty model is something else :worship:

They are such a lovely breed. Canadian Hairless is their other name. They were first a genetic defect in curly-haired cats, but are now a breed of their own.

Your photo captures a personality to go with the cat : )

I've always adored these cats. They have such unique, wonderful looks to them. And those eyes-! Wow. So beautiful. I love the shot. The pose has such a regal, poised air. And that distant, i'm-better'than'you feeling so many cats exude. :D Great capture!

love em both, how do they feel?
