You hit the top! Beautiful! And again...bw choosen ;p
Btw...what are you think about the new 35/1.8...or maybe 35/2. The only wide that I have on slr is 24/2.8, but I want to sell it. I dont like it...is non D version. Maybe 20/2.8...I have for D300 12-24/4 tokina and I try to get a 17-35/2.8....dreams :D Do you own, try or see a 17-35/2.8 Sigma? I dont like Sigma but I need a wide for F100...and I dont know what to choose...and no money with this fall...

Thank you very much :)
I have the 35/f2 – excellent lens. The 17-35/2.8 Nikkor is supposed to be top pro quality, but it should be at that price. The 17-35 sigma I knew nothing about – I looked it up and it looks ok and it’s half the price of the Nikkor. I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK that sells it – may be discontinued.
I’m in the same position – I have the 10-20/f4-5.6 Sigma for the d300 but the widest I have for the f80 is the 35/f2. I want (but can’t afford) the Nikkor 17-35/f2.8 :)

Me 2 ;p ;p ;p ...even I look at clock and I see 17:35...I told my self "with f/2.8" :)) Creepy, but true :D
I have a friend in Bucharest with 17-35 Sigma and 16mm fisheye on D3...I will talk with him and I will write you back with some news about this lens in practice :)

Btw...I so in UK on ebay something :D Here it is [link]

Yeah, ebay is probably the best source for cheap strobes - I should have got mine from there, but I didn't know that at the time :)

I try elinchrom dlite-2...200w each. But I use more umbrella (2in1 - silver&white) with CLS from popup body on sb800,600 and sometimes for background sb24 with coloured gels. I dont have triggers or something like that.

Elinchroms – quality kit! I have 2x150w interfit heads, 1 softbox and 1 brolly. The softbox is great for the small subjects I shoot. I haven’t tried the brolly yet. I mostly use one head with the softbox plus a reflector and/or an sb800 in slave mode. I’ve used CLS but it’s fiddly and the pre-flashes are annoying so I use an infrared trigger. I *really* want a set of pocket-wizards but way too expensive at the moment :(
